Checklist for Leaving

 To enable the house to be prepared for the next guests, we would ask you please to leave by 9am on your departure day. Thank you.

Please check that these actions are taken:

• Freezer emptied

• Fridge emptied

• All food, drink & condiments taken away or binned.

• Washing machine tap off

• Washing machine and tumble dryer unplugged

• Beds stripped, but please leave on the mattress protectors and pillow protectors unless they are soiled. Don’t shake! Please put linen and towels in the laundry room, in the big boxes or binliners provided there.

• Towel rails switched off

• Dishwasher emptied

• Kitchen surfaces clean, and oven clean

• Swimming pool closed and clips attached. Key put back in kitchen drawer.

• Logged out of accounts on TV

• Leave a note of any problems, damage or breakage

• Rubbish and recycling taken away (including rubbish from bathroom and waste paper bins)

• All shutters closed and latched. Please leave open (behind the closed shutters) the windows on the garden side of the house, and close all other windows.

• French doors locked and key left in pot on piano

• All doors locked and the set of keys put back in the kitchen drawer

• Front door locked and key put back in lock box by laundry door and locked

• Gate locked as you leave

• Key put back in its lock box and locked.
